KEYSOE, England, Oct. 9, 2021–Hayley Watson-Greaves and her 17-year-old Rubins Nite won the Keysoe International Dressage CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday, the first victory for the British partnership in more than four years.
Hayley and the British-bred Hanoverian gelding were awarded 74.155% for the win. The pair’s last victory in more than seven years at Big Tour that has included nine Nations Cup competitions on the British team and a World Cup Final appearance was in May 2017. Hayley and Rubins Nite first competed at international level at Small Tour in 2012, moving up to Grand Prix in 2014.
Kate Cowell on Samba Dancer, 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding, was second on a personal best 73.695% in their third musical performance since beginning Grand Prix five months ago.
Alexander Harrison on Diamond Hill, a 10-year-old British-bred Hanoverian gelding, also posted a personal best 72.845% in their second senior Big Tour event since graduating from the Under-25 division earlier this year.
