Ingrid Klimke and Firlefranz won the year’s last qualifier Sunday for the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal German championship of developing St. Georges horses final. The 14-year-old Rose Oatley on Rock Revolution was second to the five-time Olympic event rider.

Ingrid and the eight-year-old Westfalen gelding (Franziskus x Rapallo) were awarded 75.293% to be earn a start with the winners of 11 other qualifiers at the final in Frankfurt in December.

Rose Oatley and Rock Revolution, also an eight-year-old Westfalen gelding (Rock Forever x Davignon) scored 74.024% to tie with Danish senior team rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen on Carraciola MT for runner-up.

She has competed Rock Revolution in Junior CDIs since April this year. Rose swept the European Pony Championship with Daddy Moon two months ago.

Rose is the daughter of Kristy Oatley, based in Germany but rides for Australia with four Olympics as well as four World Equestrian Games and three World Cup Finals on her resume.
