WAYNE, Illinois, Aug. 28, 2021–Dawn White O’Connor and Hudson M became the USA Intermediate 1 champions Saturday while Emily Miles on Daily Show took gold in the Developing Prix St. Georges.

Dawn, 32, of San Diego, California and the nine-year-old KWPN gelding won all three competitions to become the I1 champion–Prix St. George on 74.117%, Int. 1 75.970% and Freestyle 76.355%. Four Winds Farm, Akiko Yamazaki owns Hudson M that she bought from Spain two years ago. Dawn worked for Steffen Peters for a decade before going out on her own.

Lindsey Holleger on MW Ave Maria placed second in the freestyle on 74.660% to take overall silver. Lindsey rides for Maplewood Warmbloods in Middletown, New York.

Emily Miles and Daily Show, a seven-year-old stallion (Danciano x Stockholm) won the developing St. Georges on 75.416% after taking the preliminary competition two days ago.

Emily, 33, who operates from her family’s farm in La Cygne in Kansas where she is coached by her mother, placed third on Sole Mio in both the preliminary competition and the final.
