SAMORIN, Slovakia, Aug. 6, 2021–German team rider Frederic Wandres debuted Hot Hit at Big Tour for victory Friday in the World Cup Grand Prix.

Frederic and the 10-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 72.290% for the win. The pair competed internationally at Small Tour in 2019 and moved up to Intermediate II at Wellington’s Global Dressage Festival last winter.

Alisa Glinka of Moldova on Aachen placed second on 70.290%. Alisa and Aachen, also a 10-year-old Oldenburg gelding, stand atop the World Cup Central European League standings in their campaign to take one of two spots from the region for the Final in Leipzig, Germany next April.

Sandra Sysojeva of Lithuania on Jack Daniel’s was third on 68.368%.
