The German Olympic team was announced Sunday as Isabell Werth on Bella Rose, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on TSF Dalera BB and Dorothee Schneider on Showtime FRH. Helen Langehanenberg on Annabelle was named reserve to travel with the team to Tokyo for the Olympics opening July 24.
The team:
* Isabell Werth, 51, and Bella Rose, 17-year-old Westfalen mare, owned by Madeleine Winter-Schulze
* Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, 35, and TSF Dalera BB, 14-year-old Trakehner mare, owned by Béatrice A. Buerchler-Keller, Micaela Werndl
* Dorothee Schneider, 52, and Showtime FRH, 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding, owned by Gabriele Kippert, Jobst Krumhoff, Eva-Maria Mann
Traveling reserve:
Helen Langehanenberg, 39, and Annabelle, 13-year-old Holsteiner mare, owned by Günther Fielmann
Weihegold OLD, and DSP Quantaz were named as reserves for Isabell and Faustus for Dorothee.
Frederic Wandres with Duke of Britain FRH and Benjamin Werndl with Daily Mirror will also go into quarantine with the team horses at the World Equestrian Festival CHIO show grounds.
