LE MANS, France, June 19, 2021–Hans Peter Minderhoud and Glock’s Zonik won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday in the pair’s debut musical performance following victory in the Grand Prix.

Hans Peter and the 13-year-old Danish Warmblood stallion scored 80.425% for the win in only the second show since Hans Peter took over the ride from his partner, Edward Gal, who is focused on the Totilas offspring Total US and Toto Jr.

Hans Peter returned to competition here after a minor setback following the pair’s first Big Tour appearance at Compiègne, France at the end of May and have now put themselves into contention for a place on the Netherlands’ Olympic team.

Finland’s Henri Ruoste on Kontestro DB were awarded 79.135% to place second, as they did in the Grand Prix.

Sweden’s Antonia Ramel rode Brother de Jeu to third place on 77.610%.
