ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 11, 2021–Austria’s Olympic team of three riders and horses was selected Friday–Victoria Max-Theurer and Abegglen FH NRW, Florian Bacher and Fidertraum and Christian Schumach and Te Quiero SF.

The combinations:

Victoria Max-Theurer, 35, and Abegglen FH NRW, 11-year-old Westfalen gelding

Florian Bacher, 35, and Fidertraum, 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding

Christian Schumach, 39, and Te Quiero SF, 10-year-old Holsteiner gelding.

Reserves: Astrid Neumayer and Zap Zap and Belinda Weinbauer and Fustanella OLD

Victoria will be competing in her fifth Olympics, as well as multiple world and continental championships. Florian competed Fidertraum at the 2019 European Championships while Christian was on Austrian teams at the 2014 World Equestrian Games and 2017 Europeans.
