ABRANTES, Portugal, May 22, 2021–Spain’s Jose Daniel Martin Dockx and Malagueno LXXXIII won the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday in only the third Big Tour start for the partnership.
Dani and the 11-year-old P.R.E. were awarded 70.022% for the win. The pair began Big Tour earlier this month.
Dani competed the U.S.-owned Grandioso for Spain at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, the 2014 World Equestrian Games and the 2013 and 2015 European Championships.
Portugal’s Martim Meneres on Equador placed second on 69.435% Saturday with Isidro Maldonado Espinola of Spain on Pomelo Cen third on 67.348%.
