REDEFIN, Germany, May 9, 2021–Quizmaster, the nine-year-old that Frederic Wandres rode to lead Germany to Nations Cup gold at Wellington two months ago, won the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal qualifier Sunday to earn a start in the final at Christmas time in Frankfurt.

Frederic and the Hanoverian stallion, a son of Quasar de Charry and owned by Hof Kasselmann, scored 77.244% with all five judges placing the pair first in the St. Georges Special for seven to nine-year-old horses.

Holga Finken on Foreman MJ placed second on 73.683% but only the winner in the 12 qualifiers are invited to the final.

The next qualifier is scheduled for Munich May 13-16.
