MARIAKALNOK, Hungary, May 8, 2021–Sweden’s Patrik Kittel rode Bonamour to victory in the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday for a sweep of the event in the Big Tour debut of the partnership.
Patrik and the 11-year-old Westfalen stallion scored 80.325% for the win, a day after taking the Grand Prix on the horse that was previously competed by Germany’s Hubertus Schmidt.
The Netherlands’ Thamar Zweistra on Hexagon’s Double Dutch was awarded 77.725% for second, the same placing as in the Grand Prix.
Australia’s Lyndal Oatley and Eros were third on 74.760%, the first Big Tour musical performance for the pair competing un only their second CDI.
