RANCHO MURIETA, California, April 9, 2021–Günter Seidel rode Equirelle to a personal best score to win the Golden State CDI3* Grand Prix Friday, the first international dressage show event in California this year.

Günter and the 12-year-old KWPN mare scored 70.413% for the second victory this year. The previous best score for Günter, a three-time Olympic rider of Cardiff, California and Equirelle was 69.304% posted at Wellington, Florida in February. The pair thatr began Big Tour in Wellington in 2020,  won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle at the Global Dressage Festival in January.

Mette Rosencrantz of San Diego, California and Dzeko placed second on 68.239%. Mette competed the 15-year-old Oldenburg stallion in Wellington during the winter circuit.
