Lindsay and Sebastien have posted the second highest scores of Canadians competing in Wellington so far this winter and is one of five combinations in the CDI5* campaigning for a place on the Olympic team. Among Canadian Grand Prix riders not in Florida this year, some because of travel restrictions, are Megan Lane on Zodiac MW, Tina Irwin that has the Grand Prix mount Fancy That and her Pan Am horse Laurencio, and Jaimey Irwin on Donegal V.

Three CDIs are scheduled in Canada after Global and before Olympic qualification for Canada ends in mid-June.
