The 2021 European Under-25 Dressage Championship will be staged in Hagen, Germany alongside the European Championships for seniors Sept. 8-12, the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) announced Thursday.

Hagen has been the host of multiple championship-level events and was used for the test event in 2019 for the new Olympic formats in dressage and jumping.The Under-25 championship was originally scheduled for Donaueschingen, Germany.

The FEI also announced the 2022 Youth Jumping Competition had been allocated to Aachen, Germany. Youth Competition was created when the Youth Olympic Games were postponed from next year to 2026.

Hagen also hosts the famous Horses & Dreams that traditionally kicks off the European outdoor circuit in spring as well as nations cups for junior and young riders that draw competitors from around the world.
