WARENDORF, Germany, Dec. 17, 2020–Dorothee Schneider’s Showtime FRH, Hubertus Schmidt’s Escolar and Isabell Werth’s DSP Quantaz move to the German Olympic squad announced Thursday by the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian.

The Olympic squad is:

Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, 34, and TSF Dalera BB, 13-year-old Trakehner mare and Zaire-E, 16-year-old KWPN mare
Ingrid Klimke, 52, and Franziskus, 12-year-old Hanoverian stallion
Helen Langehanenberg, 38, and Annabelle, 12-year-old Holsteiner mare
Hubertus Schmidt, 61, and Escolar, 11-year-old Westfalen stallion
Dorothee Schneider, 51, and DSP Sammy Davis jr., 14-year-old German Sport Horse gelding; Faustus, 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding, and Showtime FRH, 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding
Frederic Wandres, 33, and Duke of Britain, 13-year-old British Hanoverian gelding
Benjamin Werndl, 36, and Daily Mirror, 16-year-old Westfalen gelding, and Famoso OLD, 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding
Isabell Werth, 51, and DSP Quantaz, 10-year-old German Sport Horse gelding; Emilio, 14-year-old Westfalen gelding, and Weihegold OLD, 15-year-old Oldenburg mare.

Bella Rose was not on the squad as Isabell has not competed the 16-year-old Westfalen mare, her world No. 1 mount, since the 2018 European Championships.
