WELLINGTON, Florida, Nov. 12, 2020–The first international dressage show in the United States since mid-March began Thursday at the same Global Dressage Festival grounds that saw the last CDI in the world before the coronavirus lockdown.

The CDI3* is being held simultaneously with a World Cup event in Thermal, California and after several competitions have been staged in Europe.

Riders from 11 nations–Asia, North and South America, Europe and Australia–are competing in the national and international divisions in the first of two CDIs ahead of the winter circuit of seven CDIs over 12 weeks.
