LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Nov. 9, 2020–Ten horse and rider combinations have been named to the Discover Dressage U.S. Equestrian and Dressage federations Emerging Athlete Program for 2021. The combinations are:

–Averi Allen of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Superman, seven-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Jonni Allen;
–Hannah Irons of Queenstown, Maryland and Scolla Bella, 11-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Dressage4Kids, Inc.;
–Callie Jones of Henderson, Kentucky and Don Philippo, her own 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding;
–Tillie Jones of Lincoln, Nebraska and Apachi, 15-year-old KWPN gelding, and Qi Gong TF, 11-year-old Hanoverian mare, both owned by Tillie and Tish Jones;
–Kayla Kadlubek of Fairfax Station, Virginia and Perfect Step, 18-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Dressage4Kids, Inc.;
–Annelise Klepper of McCutchenville, Ohio and Happy Texas Moonlight, 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Shannon Klepper;
–Katherine Mathews of San Marcos, California and Soliëre, 16-year-old Hanoverian stallion and Peridot Equestrian LLC;
–Dennesy Rogers of Thousand Oaks, California and Chanel, 15-year-old Danish Warmblood mare owned by Dorriah Rogers;
–Christian Simonson of Ventura, California and Hemmingway, 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding, and Zeaball Diawind, eight-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding both owned by Christina Morgan, and
–Bianca Schmidt of Edina, Minnesota and Lou Heart, 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Eliana Schmidt.

The Emerging Athlete Program is a joint initiative of the USEF and the United States Dressage Federation designed to provide strategic guidance and educational opportunities to qualified athletes under the age of 25. The program is led by USEF Dressage Youth Coach George Williams.
