The 41st Performance Sales International auction of 22 young dressage horses has been postponed to Dec. 19 in Ankum, Germany, two weeks after the initial schedule to accommodate newly instituted hygiene requirements.
Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann announced the decision Wednesday with the aim of enabling prospective customers and spectators to be at Ankum, Germany for the auction.
Coronavirus counter measures prevent the possibility of advance tryouts of the horses.
The dressage collection includes a licensed stallion, a top-quality mare for sport or breeding or a national champion. Bloodlines represented include Fürstenball, De Niro, Vivaldi, Grey Flanell, Sir Donnerhall I, Bordeaux, Totilas and Dante Weltino.
