Germany’s Stefanie Wolf & Matchball Win Dorsten Nürnberger Burg-Pokal, 7th to Qualify for Frankfurt Final

DORSTEN, Germany, Sept. 13, 2020–Stefanie Wolf rode Matchball OLD to victory in the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal Sunday, the seventh of 12 competitions to qualify for the final of Small Tour horses in Frankfurt in December.

Stefanie of Germany and the eight-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Millenium x De Niro) scored 77.073% for the win at Gut Hohenkamp. The pair competed at the World Young Horse Championships the past three years, placing fourth in both the six- and seven-year-old divisions.

Sweden’s Patrik Kittel on Touchdown, eight-year-old KWPN, placed second on 74.610%.

The next qualifier will be at the Balve Optimum next weekend along with the German dressage championships.
