Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, on her 34th birthday Sunday, rode TSF Dalera BB to victory in the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle at Neumünster, Germany.

The personal best score of 89.640% included 42 marks of 10 and put the rider all alone at the top of the Western European rankings for a start in the World Cup Final in Las Vegas in mid-April.

Jessica, the mother of a boy, Moritz, born in August, 2017, and Dalera were on Germany’s gold medal team at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon and at the 2019 European Championships last September where the pair also won freestyle bronze.

Jessica has never been to the Olympics but plans to compete at the German championships at Balve in May that is key to earning a start on the German Nations Cup team at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany in June that in turn could see her selected for the Tokyo Olympics.
