Canada’s Lindsay Kellock and Sebastien have become the first combination to complete qualification of at least three scores in the World Cup North American League.
Lindsay and the 14-year-old Rhinelander gelding has an average of the top three scores of 75.068% in the campaign to fill one of the two places assigned to North America for the Final in Las Vegas April 15-19.
Lindsay, who turns 30 years old a week after the Final, rode Floratina was on Canada’s team that won Pan American Games gold last July and earned the nation a start in the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
Just two more World Cup qualifying competitions remain–this week and at the end of March, both at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida.
Steffen Peters on Suppenkasper is scheduled to compete in this week’s CDI-W World Cup that will complete his qualifying to add to the average of 80.370% from two events that could see him go back to the Thomas & Mack arena where he won the title in 2009.
