Charlotte Dujardin and Mount St. John Freestyle received 258 marks of eight or better at the World Cup in Lyon, France that helped the pair from Great Britain win the Grand Prix and runnerup in the Freestyle. The scores in Lyon boosted Charlotte and the 10-year-old Hanoverian mare up 202 places in the world ranking to No. 47. Charlotte, whose 36 months as No. 1 on Valegro set a record in the rider/horse combination format launched in 2006, has scheduled her next World Cup event at home in London for the renowned Olympia Christmas show. She’s looking to take Freestyle to the Final in Las Vegas next April, the city where in 2015 she won the second of her World Cup titles on Valegro.
