Performances by Cathrine Dufour on Bohemian and Charlotte Dujardin on Mount St. John Freestyle in World Cup events boosted the two partnerships in the world rankings as of the end of October and released Friday.
German superstar Isabell Werth consolidated her three placings in the top 10–No. 1 on Bella Rose for the fourth month, No. 2 on Weihegold OLD and No. 9 on Emilio on which she won the Lyon, France Grand Prix Freestle Friday.
Cathrine Dufour of Denmark on the nine-year-old Westfalen gelding won both the Grand Prix and Freestyle at home at the Herning World Cup to jump to 11th in the world from 19th at the end of September. She also stands seventh on Cassidy, her 2016 Olympic mount.
Charlotte Dujardin on Freestyle leaped 202 places in a month to 47th from 249th based on results of the Lyon World Cup, a victory in the Grand Prix and second in the Freestyle.
Aside from Isabell’s three places, fellow Germans Dorothee Schneider on Showtime FRH remained in the third spot, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on TSF Dalera BB in fourth while Helen Langehanenberg on Damsey FRH moved up to sixth from eighth, swapping positions with Denmark’s Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Zack..
The USA’s Laura Graves and Verdades were ranked fifth for the second month while Kasey Perry-Glass on Dublet stayed at No. 10. Neither combination has competed since the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden in April.
