LE MANS, France, Oct. 20, 2019–The Netherlands’ Thamar Zweistra and Hexagon’s Double Dutch won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday after capturing the Grand Prix two days earlier, the first victories for the partnership in 2 1/2 years at Big Tour.
Thamar and the 11-year-old KWPN stallion scored 70.043% for the win.
Switzerland’s Birgit Wientzek Pläge on Hot Secret was second on 69.745% and Theodora Livanos of Greece on Robinvale third on 68.617%.
