LE MANS, France, Oct. 18, 2019–Thamar Zweistra and Hexagon’s Double Dutch won the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday for the Dutch partnership’s first Big Tour victory.
Thamar and the 11-year-old KWPN stallion scored 70.975% for the win by the pair that has competed on Netherlands’ Nations Cup teams in 2 1/2 years at Grand Prix.
Great Britain’s Louise Anne Bell and Into the Blue were second on 70.217%.
Fellow Briton Gareth Hughes and KK Dominant, in the 10-year-old stallion’s Big Tour debut and also first international event, were third on 70.109%.
