LISBON, Oct. 5, 2019–Rodrigo Torres and Fogoso captured the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday on a personal best score for a double victory in the first show since competing on Portugal’s European Championship team.

Rodrigo and the nine-year-old Lusitano scored 73.404% for the seventh victory in 14 starts for so far this year that included the Europeans where Portugal earned a start at the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year. The duo won the Grand Prix here.

João Torrao and Equador, team mates at the Europeans, placed second on 73.340%. The pair was runner-up in the Grand Prix

Duarte Nogueira on Beirao was third on 71.085% to round out the top three places to Portuguese riders on Lusitanos, the same order of finish as in the Grand Prix.
