CROZET, France, Aug. 10, 2019–France’s Bertrand Liegard and Star Wars won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday for a double victory for the second time in almost six years at Big Tour.
Bertrand and the 17-year-old gelding scored 70.936% for the win, a day after capturing the Grand Prix. The previous double victory for the pair was in Mallorca, Spain three years ago.
Fellow French combinations of Camille Cheret Judet on Duke of Swing was second on 70.596% and Charlotte Chalvignac on Lights of Londonderry third on 70.523%.
