FALSTERBO, Sweden, July 12, 2019–Denise Ljungkvistand and her mare Soega won the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday, the first victory in the Swedish pair’s first year out of the Under-25 division.
Denise and the 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood Soega scored 70.565% for the win in the the third competition since starting Big Tour this year. The pair were on Sweden’s team at the Europen Under-25 Championships last year.
Hans Peter Minderhoud of the Netherlands on Glock’s Casper were second on 70.326% in the debut Grand Prix for the 12-year-old KWPN gelding. Hans Peter competed Casper at Small Tour in 2015/2016.
Paulinda Friberg of Sweden on Di Lipponia T was third on 70.130%.
