HARTPURY, England, July 7, 2019–Britain’s World Equestrian Games partnership of Carl Hester and the British-bred Hawtins Delicato won the Festival of Dressage CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday.

Carl and the 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding were awarded 75.894%, with three scores above 77% but a low of 71.915% from Kjell Myhre of Norway.

Gareth Hughes and Classic Briolinca , 13-year-old KWPN mare, placed second on 73.553%.

Portugal’s João Miguel Torrao on Equador, 10-year-old Lusitano stallion, placed third on 70.723%. The rider is in England to train with Carl Hester.
