FRITZENS, Austria, June 30, 2019–Isabell Werth and Don Johnson FRH won the Schindlhof CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday to log the 53rd victory as the German pair begin winding down the horse’s career of more than eight years at Big Tour.

Isabell and the Hanoverian gelding that is now 18 years old scored 81.780% for the win in 118 CDI starts since starting Grand Prix in March, 2011.

The pair, ranked 24th in the world, won German team gold at the 2013 European Championships and bronze in 2015, and is one five Grand Prix horses that Isabell is currently competing–including world No. 1 Weihegold OLD, No. 2 Bella Rose that she rode to a pair of victories here, and No. 5 Emilio.

Fellow Germans Stefanie Schatz-Weihermüller and C’Est la Vie was second on 76.995% with Lisa Müller on Birkhof’s Dave FBW third on 76.425%.
