VILHELMSBORG, Denmark, June 27, 2019–Jacob Noerby Soerensen rode Moegelbjergs Romeo to a personal best Grand Prix score to lead Sweden to a narrow victory over Denmark in the Nordic-Baltic Championships Thursday.
Jacob and the nine-year-old Danish Warmblood stallion scored 70.761% to be the top individual combination in the pair’s fourth Big Tour competition. The previous best was 70.696% in the debut Grand Prix in March.
Denmark’s Lone Bang Larsen on Bakkely’s Onandt was second on 70.239% and Marianne Yde Helgstrand on Lollipop third on 69.870%.
Team results: 1. Sweden 209.826%; 2. Denmark 209.000%; 3. Norway 189.457%.
