A winning performance on a personal best score by Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on TSF Dalera BB boosted the German team pair to No. 8 in the world while Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Zack and Blue Hors Don Olymbrio were both back in the top 10 on the eve of the Danish Championships.
Isabell Werth on Weihegold OLD remained No. 1 for the 30th month, on Bella Rose at No. 2 and edging up one place on Emilio to sixth in the end of May rankings posted Tuesday by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). The complete standings are available here.
American Laura Graves on Verdades who has not competed since the World Cup Final in Sweden two months ago, stayed at No. 3 while team mate Kasey Perry-Glass on Dublet slipped back one place to seventh. Shelly Francis competing Danilo in Europe after Florida’s winter-long Global Dressage Festival was up four places to No. 17.
Charlotte Dujardin of Great Britain and Mount St. John Freestyle that have not competed since team and individual bronze medal performances at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon last September dropped to 51st in the world after 11 months in the top 10.
Among the biggest moves were Benjamin Werndl on Famoso jumping to 29th from 132nd in the month. He was up one place to No. 16 on Daily Mirror.
Gareth Hughes on Classic Briolinca made a similar leap to 36th from 151st to become the second highest ranked British pair behind Carl Hester on Hawtins Delicato climbing six spots to No. 20.
