LIPICA, Slovenia, May 26, 2019–Russia’s Elena Sidneva rode Fuhur to a personal best score to win the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday.

The win on the 10-year-old Russian-bred gelding on a score of 74.655% came a day after taking the Grand Prix that was the first victory for the pair since starting Big Tour in March 2018.

Elena competed for Russia at the 2000 Sydney Olympics as well as three World Games and five World Cup Finals and is seeking to earn one of two starting places in the Central European League for the final in Las Vegas next April.

Germany’s Uwe Schwanz and Hermes, 11-year-old German Sport Horse gelding, were second on 73.950% with Austria’s Amanda Hartung on Dresscode Black third on 73.075%.
