Helen also filled the runner-up place with Frank Sinatra.

Helen and the Westfalen (Vitalis x Gloster) scored 73.049% to become the first combination to qualify for the final of the series for horses aged seven to nine years in Frankfurt Dec. 19-22.

On Frank Sinatra, an eight-year-old Westfalen gelding (Fidertanz x Louis Le Bon), the German Olympic rider scored 73.024%,

“He has only been with me since September and this was his second event,” Helen said of Vayron. “He’s a little shy, but a horse with great potential.”
