KEYSOE, England, Mar. 16, 2019–Carl Hester and Nip Tuck made it two wins in two starts by claiming the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday in the return to competition of the British Olympic, World Games and World Cup partnership.

Carl and the 15-year-old KWPN gelding that won the Grand Prix in the first competition since the 2017 European Championships claimed the Freestyle with a score of 78.725 per cent.

Charlotte Dujardin, who is coached by Carl as she was through her career with Valegro, placed second on Erlentanz, a 12-year-old Trakehner gelding, with a score of 77.700 per cent.

Anders Dahl, the Danish team rider who is based in England, on Fidelio van het Bloemenhof was awarded 74.000 per cent to place third and round out the same order of finish as the Grand Prix.

Carl and Nip Tuck (Don Ruto x Animo) were on the medal winning British teams at the 2014 Normandy World Equestrian Games, the European Championships a year later and the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The pair placed third at the World Cup Final in Omaha that was won by Isabell Werth on Weihegold with Laura Graves on Verdades runner-up.
