STOCKHOLM, Feb. 22, 2019–America’s Laura Graves, ranked No. 2 in the world on Verdades, will host a masterclass during the inaugural jumping Longines Global Champions Tour Stockholm and Stockholm Horse Week June 14.

Laura, 31 years old of the Orlando area community of Geneva, Florida, said she was “incredibly excited” to host the masterclass during the equestrian-themed weekend of top show jumping as part of the Global Champions Tour and League individual and team series.

“We’re really happy and think it’s amazing that Laura will come over to Sweden, when we for the first time are hosting Longines Global Champions Tour and Stockholm Horse Week,” said Sara Johansson, sports director of the event. “Laura has a brilliant career and we are happy to be the first organizer in Sweden to be able to attract her.”

The Stockholm masterclass will likely be Laura’s second visit to Sweden this year as she is campaigning for a start at the World Cup Finl in Gothenburg in April.

Verdades was bought as a KWPN foal from a video and developed by Laura to win Olympic team bronze in 2016, team and individual silver medals at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, team gold at the 2015 Pan American Games and reserve champion at both the 2017 and 2018 World Cup Finals.

Laura and Verdades became world No. 1 last fall, the first American combination to achieve the highest ranking.
