BONEO, Australia, Jan, 26, 2019–Australia’s Rozzie Ryan logged double victories Saturday by riding Jarrah R to win the World Cup Grand Prix and Adonie to take the CDI3* Grand Prix.
Rozzie and the 13-year-old gelding were awarded 67.543 per cent for the win in the Pacific League Final to decide the sole representative from Down Under for the annual global championships, to be staged in GHothenburg, Sweden in April.
The 2016 Australian Olympic team combination of Sue Hearn and Remmington were second on 66.522 per cent with Gitte Donvig on Sancette third on 65.348 per cent.
The Freestyle will be staged Sunday in the only one of the four World Cup geograpic leagues to select the representative based on a final.
In the CDI3*, Rozzie and Adonie, 14-year-old KWPN mare, scored 66.305 per cent with Lesley Anne Taylor on Amicelli Gold second on 65.826 per cent and Pauline Carnovale on Captain Cooks third on 63.370 per cent.
