Jennifer and Jürgen are returning home to California after eight years training and competing in Europe, bringing with them Jennifer’s two Big Tour stallions and two youngsters that have shown successfully in young horse divisions.

Jennifer said she was returning to spend time with her family and as of mid-January will operate her training and sales business out of a friend’s dressage barn in Rancho Santa Fe, near San Diego.

“I must say that the decision was very, very difficult for me and friends who know me well saw how much I struggled with the decision,” she told “My entire career was basically made in Europe.”

She went back to Germany in 2010, having previously spent several years there training and competing.

Jennifer’s biggest successes this time were with Rubinio NRW and Florentinus V. Among the highights were riding Rubinio on the United States Nations Cup team at Odense, Denmark in 2016 and Florentinus in the World Young Horse Championships, making the six-year-old final in 2012.

Rondoro Noblesse, her seven-year-old Austrian Warmblood stallion that she has started four times for three second places in German young horse CDIs, is also coming with Jennifer. So, too, is Fürst Florianus, a licensed stallion by Florentinus that made it into the finals of the Hannoverian Championship stallion division his year.
