WELLINGTON, Florida, Dec. 10, 2018–The Adequan Global Dessage Festival will see a small increase in total prize money to $597,700 for seven CDIs to remain the richest dressage circuit in the world of international and national competitions over 12 weeks that begins in a month.

The circuit that was launched seven years ago includes four World Cup events and, the only show outside Europe, to stage a top rated CDI5* with total prizemoney for that week of $216,700, a CDI4* with $128,700 total and the Nations Cup week with $77,200.

A national competition is held alongside the CDIs as well as other weeks in the 12-week long circuit that this year will see a new series of developing Prix St. Georges patterned after the world famous Nürnberger Burg-Pokal, the German championship for small tour horses aged seven to nine years, with a $10,000 final in Global’s main arena at circuit conclusion. The lineup was reshuffled for 2019 to stage the Nations Cup earlier in a Pan American Games year in which two nations can qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The United States qualified for Tokyo with a silver medal performance at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon in September.

Prize money showed increases in the amateur division and for some small tour classes at Global to be staged at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center’s Stadium complex as it has since launching.

Dressage-news.com, as it has each year, will track prizemoney earnings throughout the circuit, supported by Cunningham & Cunningham Livestock insurance.
