LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Nov. 20, 2018–Tillie Jones on Tuesday was named reserve overall winner of the 2018 U.S. Equestrian Federation Youth Sportsman’s Award. The title was won by Clea Clutier, nominated by the American Morgan Horse Association.
Tillie Jones, 17 years old of Lincoln, Nebraska, has competed at the dressage Festival of Champions and the North American Youth Championships, taking individual junior gold in 2017 and leading her team to silver in 2018.
She volunteers at a non-profit summer camp, teaching children about horse care and how to ride, is an inductee to the National Honor Society, a singer, cheerleader, representative on her school’s student council, and volunteers with FoodNet, Inc. in Lincoln.
