MELBOURNE, Australia, Nov. 16, 2018–Susanne Hearn rode Remmington to a personal best score to win the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Friday, the last qualifying competition for the Pacific League to go to a head-to-head competition in two months to decide the combination for the Final in Sweden next April.
Susanne and Remmington, a 16-year-old Australian warmblood that competed for Australia at the 2016 Olympics, were awarded 72.550 per cent for the win. Their previous best score was 72.435 per cent in Brisbane, Australia in July 2017.
Rozzie Ryan and Jarra R were second on 71.555 per cent with Dirk Dijkstra and AEA Metallic in third on 70.310 per cent.
The Pacific league is one of only four geographic zones to stage a league final to decide the sole representative from Down Under for the Final. The league decider is set for Boneo Jan. 25-27.
