SOPOT, Poland, Nov. 11, 2018–Poland’s 26-year-old Mateusz Cichon and Herzregent posted their first international career victory in winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday.

Mateusz and the 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored a personal best 71.825 per cent in what was their third musical performance since starting Big Tour in April this year.

The pair began small tour three years ago and competed in the European Under-25 Championships in 2017.

Sweden’s Märit Olofsson Nääs and Strolchi placed third on 69.720 per cent with Klaudyna Pisarska of Poland on Rafaello PG in third on 69.095 per cent.
