Australian Olympian Lyndal Oatley has given birth to a girl, Emilia Oatley-Kittel–“Ems.”

Patrik Kittel, Lyndal’s husband and Olympian for Sweden, reported the news Monday.

“We are all so so happy,” he said nn his Facebook page. “It feels unreal, weird but so crazy good… crying with happiness over the love for Lyndal and our baby girl.”

Lyndal had remained in Germany during her pregnancy.

Patrik was on Sweden’s team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina last month.
