TALLINN, Estonia, Oct. 6, 2018–Sweden’s Natalie Oldfors and Mickey M captured the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday with a personal best score to repeat their performance a day earlier in the Grand Prix.
Natalie and the 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding scored 74.585 per cent for the win to make it the first two victories in nine starts at Big Tour.
Estonia’s Dina Ellermann on Landy’s Akvarel, a 15-year-old Estonian Sport Horse mare, placed second on 73.475 per cent, also a personal best for the 2014 World Games combination.
Russia’s Stanislav Cherednichenko on Arums, a nine-year-old Latvian-bred gelding, was third 72.270 per cent.
Natalie Oldfors gets to carry the 20 points awarded for the victory to the World Cup Western European League standings.
Stanislav on Arums is firmly atop the rankings in the Central European League which gets to send two combinations to the final that is to be staged in Gothenburg, Sweden next April.
