NICE, France, Oct. 6, 2018–Emma Hindle and Romy del Sol won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday with a personal best score as the British pair did in the Grand Prix a day earlier for the first double victory in the pair’s Big Tour career.
Emma and the 12-year-old Westfalen mare scored 72.660 per cent for the win that is their third straight, having been victorious in Belgium three weeks earlier. The string of wins comes after 18 months at Big Tour that has included being on British Nations Cup teams in 2018 and 2017.
Russia’s Tatiana Miloserdova on Florento Fortuna placed second on 70.000 per cent.
Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath, in his first CDI Grand Prix show in three years, was third with 67.383 per cent on Foundation. The pair were second Friday. This competition was the Big Tour debut for the 10-year-old Hanoverian stallion.
