LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Oct. 5, 2018–The ninth annual Robert Dover Horsemastership Clinic will be staged in Wellington, Florida Jan. 3-6, aimed at identifying and developing the next generation of American equestrian team talent.

Twenty-four riders will be invited to participate in the clinic, US Equestrian announced Friday.

Training sessions will feature intense, mounted sessions led by internationally acclaimed American athletes and trainers and daily instruction on all facets of horsemanship from experts in their respective fields. Participants will hear lectures from veterinarians, saddle and tack specialists, farriers, dressage professionals, media staff, life coaches, and accredited judges.

Participants include:

–Highest-placed U.S. individual and freestyle young rider and junior medalists from the 2018 North American Youth Championships;
–Champion and reserve champions of 2018 USEF Young Adult ‘Brentina Cup,’ Young Rider, Junior Pony and Children national championships;
–Champion and Reserve Champion from the 2018 Medal Finals 14-18 and 13 and under divisions, and
–Up to four Wild Cards
