SAUMUR, France, Sept. 8, 2018–Adelinde Cornelissen and Aqiedo posted a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday and log the first-back-to-back victories for the Dutch combination this year.
Adelinde and the 13-year-old KWPN stallion scored 80.365 per cent for the win, a day after capturing the Grand Prix. Their previous best freestyle score was 75.585 per cent.
Katja Gevers and Thriller placed second on 77.275 per cent, also a personal best in seven years at Big Tour for the Netherlands rider and the 18-year-old KWPN gelding.
Great Britain’s Louise Anne Bell and Into the Blue were third on 71.825 per cent.
