An all-female Switzerland team for the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina was announced Monday by the Swiss Federation of Equestrian Sports. The team:
Caroline Häcki, 35 years old, and Rigoletto Royal CH, 16-year-old Swiss Warmblood gelding, owned by Hildegard Rindlisbacher and Marcel Häcki;
Antonella Joannou, 41, and Dandy de la Roche CMF CH, 13-year-old Swiss Warmblood gelding, owned by Antonella and Léana Joannou;
Estelle Wettstein, 21, and West Side Story, 10-year-old Oldenburg mare or Friedrich der Grosse, 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding, both owned by Marie-Line Wettstein, and
Birgit Wientzek Pläge, 47, and Robinvale, 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding, owned by Theodora Livanos.
Dressage starts with the Grand Prix Sept. 12-13, Grand Prix Special Sept. 14 and the Grand Prix Freestyle Sept. 16.
