HARTPURY, England, July 7, 2018–Richard Davison and his 12-year-old homebred Bubblingh posted the first victory of the year in taking the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle on a personal best score in their campaign to be on Great Britain’s team at the World Equestrian Games.

Richard, a four-time Olympian and in the fourth year at Grand Prix on the KWPN gelding, scored 77.810 per cent for the victory to repeat as the winner of the musical performance at this same show a year ago where they logged their previous best result of 76.800 per cent.

Richard is looking to take Bubblingh to the rider’s third WEG, having competed at Rome in 1998 and Jerez, Spain in 2002.

In the all-British top placings, Sonnar Murray Brown on Erlentanz placed second on 75.400 per cent with Louise Anne Bell and Into the Blue third on 72.170 per cent.
