TRYON, North Carolina, June 27, 2018–Sunset+Vine, a British television sports producer and distributor, on Wednesday was named host broadcaster of the World Equestrian Games Sept. 11-23.

Sunset+Vine will provide more than 100 hours of live coverage of the WEG, the announcement said, of the flagship event of the eight horse sports governed by the International Equestrian Federation that has been held once every four years since its inception in 1990. The event at Tryon International Equestrian Center will be the second time outside Europe.

The broadcast agreement provides for “comprehensive live coverage” of the horse sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, jumping, reining, vaulting and para-dressage from Tryon as well as a daily highlights show” and the opening ceremony Sept. 11.

The Tryon Games are projected to be the highest-attended sporting event in the United States in 2018.
