Five Purebred Spanish horses were named Thursday by Spain for the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, Netherlands, Aug. 2-5, including the seven-year-old Mejorano HGF owned by Hampton Green Farm of the United States.
Selection of the horses under a new policy implemented by the Spanish federation this year to showcase Spanish-bred horses was announced by young horse coach Jürgen Koschel of Germany.
The selected horses are:
5-Year-Old
Molinero FS (Yeguada Arroyomonte)
Sólo de Centurión (Yeguada Centurión)

Qu de Susaeta (Yeguada Susaeta)
6-Year-old
Poeta de Susaeta (Yeguada Susaeta)
7-Year-Old
Romero de Trujillo (Yeguada de Trujillo)
